To Whom It May Concern,
Synectics is the model for the type of company I would love to say I was employed. It is a company that is innovative and competitive but it is also a company that deeply cares about their customers and employees. I, personally, would love the chance to continue Synectics’s storied history of providing best in class products and services to their customers and upholding the same values of dedication and a commitment to excellence that Synectics has built its reputation on since it was founded.
For some insight into my current position and how it translates, my primary role of my position is to promote sales and fiber network footprint growth for my designated territory through analyzing my territory, segmenting my markets and then making contact through direct, cold calling, network referrals, or sales partners. Through the marketing and project managing of several different network build outs at once, organization and communication with my superiors, peers, and with cross functional departments is paramount. We mainly do this through the Microsoft office suite. During the sales process I must identify all of the IT needs of my client and engage with multiple decision makers and set up time for all of them to be together, or to go to each one individually to get them all on board with the project and overcome any objections that may arise through the process. When given the findings from my construction team I must take their highly technical build-out information and couple it together with my personalized company specific sales IT consultation and relate it plainly to all decision makers involved so that it is understood and so we make sure our agreed upon is cost beneficial for Comcast Business.
I have been interested in a position with Synectics for quite some time and I was excited when I saw this position had opened up. I believe that this position is tailor made for my skillset. I have my undergraduate degree from Bradley University in Business Administration, and my last 4 years of work experience have dealt with effectively communicating, selling, and giving exceptional customer service to the business needs for manufacturers of Agriculture, Automotive, Mining, and Construction Equipment vertical markets successfully. Synectics is also the place where I believe I can best grow in. I am currently studying for the GMAT entrance exam for MBA classes. My test is in February and I am looking to attend the University of Illinois at Springfield MBA Peoria Cohort program in the fall and graduate in May of 2018.
Delivering results and quickly developing new employees into productive members of my team are some of the established skills I can bring to the role. My track record proves that I exceed sales goals and am quick to embrace change and excel in new roles. Executing against brand initiatives, driving teams to deliver outstanding results, and achieving financial plans for sales targets are some of my key strengths.
Some of my achievements include:

Receiving the Net Promoter Score award and Comcast Cup award with the rest of my store/team was a proud moment for me. There is no “I” in Team. Those awards are an example of my ability to lead a team and influence others. No individual award means quite as much. I enjoy the process of developing and motivating people.
I’m always evolving my skills and taking on new challenges so I’m excited about the positive contributions I could bring to your company in this role. I look forward to speaking with you more about the position.
Sincerely,
Michael Culkin
