Project Description: Project involves online ticket reservation and easing the tedious tasks of railway activities like ticket reservation, cancellation, login, checking and displaying reservation status, reservation schedule.

Customer creates ID initially, by filling registration form on website. Customer logs in and registers for a ticket by providing boarding and destination station and class for travel.

Details are verified by online manager and a PNR number is provided to the customer. Online Manager maintains the database.

Customer can cancel the ticket by entering PNR number after login and a confirmation mail is sent. Customer can view the reservation status and train schedule.

i.Specifying details of functional user requirements in terms of data, system, performance, security and maintenance.

ii.Choosing an appropriate SDLC model based on flexibility and maintainability.
