Location: Washington DC
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $60K/ Annum with Benefits
• Responsible to manage team’s Ticket queue and mailbox in a very effective way.
• Co-ordinate with respective teams with in a project, maintain a secure environment.
• Responsible for handling issues pertaining to operations, production, DR and Co-Location datacenters sites.
• To make sure all visitors to DC will adhere the Data Center In house rules.
• Responsible to install/upgrade the devices, hardware, daily DC health checks, patching, racking & stacking, lift & shift, cabling.
• Responsible of tape media management which includes mounting/un-mounting tapes, maintaining the records, preparing the reports, dispatching the tapes effectively.
• Responsible for keeping cardboard and containments out of the Data centers and ensuring the space is safe and secure.
• Responsible to make sure all necessary approvals are in place for all type of requests/activities as per defined process.
• Responsible for IT equipment Deliveries and co-ordinate with visitors visiting the DC for activities.
• Maintaining visitor records and provides basic level of troubleshooting when required.
• Responsible of acting as hands and eye to internal teams in case of Incidents/Emergencies during business/non-business hours.
• Responsible to perform the allocated daily & weekly tasks.
• Responsible for sending daily & weekly reports.
• Able to perform in pressure situation and should have ability to do multi-tasking.
• Additionally, must have strong verbal and written communication skills and should be motivated individual.
• Skills, Experience and Qualification Required for the Position :
• Education – Qualification – Diploma in computer science/BE/MCA/Diploma in Data Centre Management.
