Telular Corp – Chicago, IL 2015 – 2015
Sr. Automated Design/Test Engineer
Develop test applications using Csharp .NET (C#), NI Teststand to test Telular GSM/CDMA RF Wireless Radio products. Design a new Standalone GUI test applications using C# for Engineering validates products. Migration LabWindows/CVI Production Test Software to C# and NI Teststand.
Design, build Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and test fixtures to support Telular products. Validate, and provide production test support for new and existing products.
Rockwell Automation – Milwaukee, WI 2011 – 2014
Sr. Design/Test Engineer
Design, build, repair ATE, and test fixtures to support Rockwell Automation products. Create Test Plan, Test Specification document, and schematics to validate New Product Introduction (NPI) product. Develop hardware/software to test Rockwell Automation medium power Smart Motor Controller, Magnetic, Stack-light, Modular Control System, Contactors, Circuit Breakers products.
Develop test code using NI Teststand, Visual Studio C#, C++, and Visual Basic6 software. Design GUI, Front Panels test. Utilize PLC, Agilent, and Contec IO in hardware and software interface.
Provide technical support in troubleshooting product issues to minimize downtime production in Rockwell Automation plants. Knowledge of IEEE-488, RS-232, TCP/IP and 485 standards.
GE Aviation – Vandalia, OH 2009 – 2010
Product Test Engineer (Contract)
Design and build custom tester, PCB, and test rack to support aviation products at GE Aviation. Create test specification and ATP document to validate new product AC/DC Inverter Converter Controller (ICC) for 3 Phases engine generator. Utilize CAN Bus interface to test GE Aviation Products.
Provide project management and make correction on new ICC build. In collaboration with Design developed efficient and effective test specifications with due regard of failure, lessons learned.
AEROSONIC Corp. – Clearwater, FL 2007 - 2009
Sr. Test Engineer
Primary function as designed and built custom test equipment to support avionics production at Aerosonic Corp. Redesigned, and tested on the obsolescence products such as Avionics cockpit display, Altimeter, Indicator, Stall Warning transceivers in laboratory, and in plant.
Conducted hardware verification, EMC/EMI, and environmental validation to support regulatory submission to FAA requirements based on DO-160E.
GENERAL DYNAMICS – Tallahassee, FL 2004 - 2006
Product Design Engineer (Contract)
Designed and integrated on new and obsolescence products for Stryker, EFV, Abrams, and Bradley military family vehicles. Redesigned, and tested of new Vetronics subsystem SRU, LRU hardware and PLD firmware. Built and tested new circuit card assembly.
Used Orcad, Pspice, and Mentor Graphics simulation software to redesign Climate Control Unit, Auxiliary Power Control Module. Redesigned, and tested the obsolete Xilinx FPGA, Atmel CPLD. Worked with high and low-side MOSFET switching, CAN bus, Mil-Std1553, RS422/RS232 driver.
Knowledge of Functional Analysis, PCB Layout, Power dissipation, Stress Analysis, and Tolerance Study. Familiar with Military standard, land combat systems, and ISO9001 process and metric.
MOTOROLA - Libertyville, IL 2000 - 2004

Provided hardware/software design and test support to Motorola cellular phones manufacturing in both the US and Asia. Became knowledgeable in various areas of Motorola CDMA/WCDMA cellular products, design, test the RF circuitry for Cellular/PCS and Amps dual band, tri-mode.
Prepared hardware and Nextest software (C/C++ platforms) for new product launch at Motorola offshore manufacturing sites in China and Korea.

Test Engineer
Wrote Burn-In and ATE test software using PASCAL, C, Labview languages to support test, troubleshoot various military GPS (Global Position System) receivers.
Designed and built automated test stations, system interface PCB's utilizing analog, and digital devices, including Motorola and Intel microprocessors. Provided manufacturing test support, test software delivered to the GPS production line. Prepare technical equipment manual.
