MANAGEMENT
Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron Lock Shop. We maintain over 60,000 locks and over 100,000 keys worth over 10 million dollars in assets. Maintain the security of over 10.2 billion dollars’ worth of assets on Peterson AFB, Colorado. In charge of key control and 10 Airmen underneath me.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
We have over 300 buildings on Peterson AFB and I am in charge of the lock shop. I deal with all customers, contractors, and work orders from our facility managers that are dealt through IWIMS, our work order and Inventory tracking system for the entire base.
COMMUNICATION
While being in the Air Force I am able to employ great communication skills in the properties of mentorship, training, feedback, and customer service. I am able to negotiate and effectively communicate by being an enthusiastic speaker and a persuasive listener. I have not come across a time in my career where there was a breakdown in communication because it all comes down to attention to detail and finding a common goal.
LEADERSHIP
I am in charge of the master keys for Peterson Air Force base where I have access to every door of the 300 buildings on base. I lead, train, and mentor over 10 airmen under my control. I teach them skill level upgrade training in the locksmith profession where I have my Best Stanley certification, Pro Lock certification, and Lock Masters Certification. I like to take the transformational leadership approach to my leadership style. That includes enhancing the motivation, morale, and job performance of followers through a variety of mechanisms; these include understanding the strengths and weaknesses of followers, allowing the leader to align followers with tasks that enhance their performance.

Honorably Discharged Air Force Veteran, Deployed Veteran Operation Enduring Freedom. Facility Maintenance on over 10.6 Billion dollars’ worth of assets. Locksmith, Carpenter, Heavy Equipment Operator, Welder, Sheet Metal Fabrication at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska from May 2011- September 2014 and Peterson AFB, Colorado October 2014- May 2016. The awards that I received were Airman of the Quarter Recipient two times and Workhorse of the month award one time in a squadron of 115 troops. I also received the Air Force Achievement Medal one time and Army Achievement Medal one time for my time served overseas.
