Initiated, designed and implemented complete accounting system conversions in order to bring in-house all financial reporting aspects resulting in significant cost reductions, enhanced reporting capacity, and budget development and implementation.

Controller, Churchill Stateside Group, llc, Clearwater, FL, Mar. 2014 – Dec. 2014. Reported directly to CEO. Oversaw all accounting and reporting for six entities and various investment funds. Coordinated simultaneous external audits. Determined and facilitated appropriate internal controls. Overhauled operational budgets and financial reporting formats.

Key Achievements:

Overhauled entire financial reporting process, through detailed mapping of all cross systems, establishing verifiable reconciliation points, creating corresponding financial reporting protocols, implementing and teaching those responsible, resulting in a more profitable, efficient and auditable company. Many new organization metrics were created and achieved.

Implemented a true revenue reconciliation process for company production centers, resulting in faster accurate billing and incoming cash flow, enhancing customer satisfaction from timely accurate financial data sent, and producing an AR write-off that originally was over $360,000 annually down to being consistently less than $20,000. Transparency in reporting was accomplished, which resulted in many enhancements taking place throughout entire organization.

Created custom budget and report applications in MS Excel, allowing for optimal reporting comparisons and projections of operational needs, resulting in the ability of management team to receive explanatory financial data and accompanying scenario planning matrix in a clear, precise manner. Correctional action occurred sooner. We were dialed in more.

Negotiated optimal payroll, banking, insurance and 401K programs for employees, resulting in increased satisfaction and company cost reduction, in some cases up to 30% reduction in overall cost.
