Quality Assurance Analyst

Teller Express System additions (Standalone Application).

My team is responsible for addition of new updates in tellers express. I recently worked on ID requirement feature of teller express for any kind of cash deposits at branch location. System will prompt for account holder’s ID for cash deposits, this way no non account holder will be able to deposit cash. Business accounts and manager’s override were an exception. I wrote down test cases for every possible scenario as per the requirements and then ran them promptly once code was available, logged defects and had to send them back and forth many times with developers. Finally we were able to launch that update very successfully and on time.

Online Banking Application (Web based application):

Before Standalone application testing mentioned above, I worked with chase online banking application development team. Where customers could check their balances online, transfer money and make payments and open accounts online. This was a web based testing experience with functional, regression, integration and then system testing. I got to learn a lot here. Like:

Analyzing and reviewing business requirements.

Interacting with the QA lead, Developers, Business Analyst and Project Manager.

Developing test scenarios and test data.

Executed SQL Queries to retrieve information from database to assure data consistency and integrity.

One main new feature added on website was SmartHealth that make the business receive great positive reviews from users.
