Primary job responsibility was assigned special projects rooted in past, present and future issues to maintain the Goodyear airship fleet. Organized contractors for specific tasks required to support the airship program. Airship Erection Supervisor for the Goodyear’s GZ-20A program. Responsible for rigging issues for the FAA Part 14 CFR 145 Certified Repair Station at Goodyear’s WFL facility and provided technical field support. Managed Goodyear’s aircraft stores and also setup the RAMCO software program to control inventories, accounting functions, hazardous materials & time life parts. As a part of a 7 year study in the selection of the Zeppelin airship provided pivotal input as a future replacement. Was Goodyear’s manufacturing representative to support Zeppelin personal in the fabrication of NT airships in Akron, Ohio. Credited and recognized for maintaining the Zeppelin production schedule on track and on time. Aid to Facilities Manager in the layout/retrofit of airship bases, (OH, FL & CA) from GZ-20A airship to the Zeppelin NT. As part of the modernization of Zeppelin, provided research, development and selection of systems such as avionics suite, LED electrical sign and specific GSE equipment. Help refine the Zeppelin airship’s auxiliary equipment such as the expeditionary mooring mast & helium purification/storage system. Developed, tested and applied paint designed specifically for the Goodyear NT with helium retardation characteristics. As Zeppelin receiving inspector was responsible for managing ZLT Stores/Akron and logistics and customs issues. Supported Zeppelin manufacturer’s quality audits required by EASA and FAA/MIDO at Goodyear’s WFL facility for aircraft production. Conducted multimedia interviews on the history and manufacturing progress of the Zeppelin airship.

Primary engineering contact for Goodyear, Michelin, Bridgestone/Firestone and General in programming test plans. Responsible for test programming using Digital VAX/VMS and Windows based programs. Ensured the proper execution of testing and post processing of test data used in the vehicle dynamics programs for the automotive industry. Acquired and enforced ISO 9000/IEC Guide 25 AL2A laboratory accreditation.

ILC/Oceaneering Space Systems - Saftech, Houston, Texas – Lead Assembly Technician/Inspector – 12/1992 – 9/1997.

Engineering liaison in concepts, prototypes, mockups, quality testing for 1st article space flight hardware to support the U.S. Space Program.
