Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all pay and labor rules within the Peoplesoft and Red Prairie Time
& Attendance systems and their output for North America. Works with senior corporate and divisional management in the planning and administration of all store incentive projects. Key accomplishments include the following:
•Sick Leave Accruals - Initiated and led a successful multi-functional development project to address the impact of jurisdictions expanding sick pay to part time associates. As manually calculating and processing sick pay was becoming unmanageable, and as it appeared such laws were becoming a trend, the developed system included varied configuration options. Subsequent to implementation in the spring of 2014, California announced that on July 1, 2015 any employee that works at least 30 days a year is entitled to sick pay. While the previous system could not accommodate the requirements of the California law, the new system has already been configured for when the law becomes effective.
•Compensation Reassessment - Led multi-functional, multi-brand review of current retail sales commission programs to identify alternative incentive means in the context of ever-increasing minimum wage rates. Currently launching two major compensation pilots designed to mitigate risk of increasing wages while achieving learnings regarding the effectiveness of in an individualized versus team-based approach.
• Department Reorganization - Successfully revitalized Field Compensation department via the implementation of risk management techniques, adoption of enhanced standards for the documentation of all critical tasks, and the expansion of Field Compensation capabilities through the development of key proficiencies of department associates.
• Pay & Labor Legal Compliance - Successfully eliminated inherited store compensation deficiencies cited in Internal Controls report via the implementation of advanced auditing techniques and standardized procedures. The techno-functional leader on the Global HRMS team responsible for the tactical administration of departmental resources in both the maintenance of current systems and the utilization of key personnel for projects. Acts as the key liaison and coordinator between business owners/administrators from multiple functional areas and the IS team in the evaluation, design and implementation of Peoplesoft functionality and associated processes. Major projects include:
• Peoplesoft Position Management Reorganization - Worked with multiple HR business owners and functional administrators across Foot Locker’s brands to identify business practices that resulted in costly inefficiencies and/or compromised data integrity. Drafted an action plan to ultimately resolve the systemic issues via the standardization and documentation of procedures with steps to monitor compliance. Also created near-term measures to mitigate the more adverse systemic effects.
• Peoplesoft Upgrade 8.3 to 9.0 – Played the chief role in successfully ensuring that all system and user security was seamlessly transitioned from the 8.3 to the 9.0 version. Provided clear and detailed documentation on multiple modules regarding new and/or changed functionality. This project was cited by the IS director as the most flawless in his career due to the lack of any post-implementation incidents.

• Peoplesoft Integration of NSB POS and Time & Attendance – Served as the principle functional liaison for the successful integration of PeopleSoft HRMS and the Time & Attendance software (TAM) acquired from NSB Retail Associates (now part of Epicor) for Foot Locker’s stores throughout 17 countries in Europe.
