Lead Engineer:

SIL development & Testing:

Developed simulation application using the system in loop (SIL) environment for mild and Strong hybrid vehicles. It involves developing sensor actuator & CAN models, generating plant model requirement & modifying plant models from HIL bench setups for the hybrid controller.

Designed, Standardized & Developed low cost Control Area Network (CAN) strategy for Systems in Loop(SIL) and saved 1000s of $ to the company.

Designed the CAN trigger Schedule mechanism for controllers in SIL.

Simulation experience has involved plant modeling and scripting in Matlab and Simulink.

HIL development & Testing:

Commissioning HIL simulators, setup Simulink models both open and closed loop to satisfy ECU testing. Test Automation using various automation tools

Designed and developed test plans for new features to be implemented on GM hardware-in-loop (dSPACE) in accordance with the requirements received from the Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) powertrain engineering group. Wrote test automation scripts & executed on HIL benches.
