Business Improvement Manager, 2012-2015

Asset Maintenance Planning Superintendent 2012-2013. Led a team of 15 maintenance planners accountable for the mine, processing and rail transport work streams. Led a project to create the maintenance strategies for all mobile and fixed plant equipment.

Business Improvement Manager 2013 –2015. Led a team of lean experts in the development of an asset wide business improvement plan based on lean principles. Key results included process optimization to consistently produce targeted tonnage in the mine and mill. Reduce unscheduled equipment down time and reduced maintenance costs. An overall operating cost reduction of 7.5 million was achieved.

CARWILL ENGINEERED WEAR SOLUTIONS

Business Development Manager, 2010- 2012

Developed and implemented a growth plan for southwest regional market.

Established customer base by creating relationships with key internal management staff. Demonstrated company capabilities by winning bids on large and small projects to replace wear liner packages in haul truck beds, shovel dippers, crushing and conveying equipment and custom engineered conveying transfer chutes. The region I was responsible for added 2.8 million in annual revenue.

BHP COPPER PINTO VALLEY OPERATIONS

Project Manager -2007-2009

Planned and led new and upgraded equipment project installations in the crushing and ball mill areas within project schedule and costs. Managed projects utilizing both internal and contracted crafts people.

REX INDUSTRIES

General Manager, 2005-2007

P&L responsibility for a mid-sized metal fabrication plant. Led a company turnaround from near closure to profitability in 18 months by renewing customer relationships and demonstrating the highest quality and schedule standards. Implemented an OSHA safety system.

ITT INDUSTRIES

Western Region Service Manager, 2001 –2005

Led the five Western Regional pump repair & overhaul service facilities in the successful delivery of upgraded and remanufactured service agreements. Customers included oil refineries, power generation, mining, manufacturing, waste- water treatment.

Increased the sales revenue from $28 million to $36 million by marketing the capabilities of the PRO Services group to a wide range of industrial customers within the region.
