Play a key role as safety coordinator, in charge of performing a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Quarterly safety inspections including fire extinguishers and elevators
Safety meetings with the management and associated staff
Recordkeeping of all safety-related matters such as OSHA 300 and 300A logs
Accident and incident and injury reporting
Revision and updates of written programs including Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Fall Protection, Hazardous Material, and Respiratory Protection
Serve as liaison between the company insurance carrier and upper management for safety recommendations; as well as the safety program developer for the following programs:

Serve as an integral member of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Food Safety Team
Take charge of executing incoming material management of growing media
Perform in-depth research and development of mushroom growing techniques through testing and close monitoring of climate change for all four mushrooms produced
Secure and properly maintain property machinery including installation of additional reverse osmosis system; as well as repair of air handlers, irrigation components, compressors and boilers, and specialized production machinery
Offer hands-on support to human resources on employee interview, hiring, and orientation and training; as well as communication among the upper management, operation workers, and contractors
Notable Accomplishments:
Increased safety awareness by creating a system to track injuries and/or near-misses within various departments based on injury type, employment period, and cause; thus allowing the company to set priorities on areas to be improved and type of dangers
Introduced a digital system to efficiently maintain safety records with designated formats for faster retrieval that streamlined the process of follow-ups on ongoing cases
Developed the procedure of monitoring equipment allocation such as disposable items and other hand-over tools, which maximized equipment lifespan and properly determined irregularities
