Capacitor Duty Contactor: Complete Assembly Check, Siemens, Kalwa.
Capacitor duty contactor is used to switch power capacitors depending upon the amount of reactive power compensation required.
The purpose of this project is to carry out tests to check electro-mechanical parameters of contactor using PLC.
We designed a modular test bench that tests contactor for its continuity.
Software platforms used were STEP7 microWIN SP1 v4.0 and SIMATIC WinCC flexible v2008.
