oDeveloped a standardized procedure for the fabrication of coin cells and electrodes which the research group adopted. This resulted in data that became more consistent and reproducible.

oAnalyzed cycled battery cells. Data obtained help identify the failure mechanism involved with our batteries and electrolyte packages.

Process Chemistry Engineer - Displays Process Laboratory

July 2007- June 2013

oDesigned a semi-batch process for the production of HTL polymer. New process achieved an increase in max batch size from 20g to 160g, and the reduction of solvent/resources/time was reduced >50%.

oInvolved with the PSM/PHA process for the start-up of new process equipment. Wrote SOPs for the use of new process equipment and processes. In addition was part of the hazardous material decontamination team involved with writing chemical hygiene best practices for SHRC and HTM materials.

oDeveloped and optimized a new processing route for the scale up of phosphorescent dopants. New process generated dopants that outperformed the existing material and have not failed in device testing.

oMentored and supervised junior engineers and chemist until they were ready to work independently or with minimum supervision.

oPart of the hiring committee involved with interviewing and screening potential candidates.

oTechnical lead for the HTL and Phosphorescent Dopant involved with the interactions and tech transfer of IP to CMOs and customers for these products.
