I have held brief employment during this period (and choose to omit the employer in this resume) and I have had other opportunities which I have declined. In January 2013 I lived in the State of Iowa and was laid off from work unexpectedly. I remodeled my home somewhat, eventually sold it, and chose to return to California which I had left years earlier and where I have family and work experience. I have traveled, pursued writing, researched self employment business ventures, helped family, and mostly, I have been selective in seeking employment.
