CU Grand Challenges – Project Lead (May 2015 – Sept. 2015)

Lead of an Asteroid Mining Space Pod for STEM education. o Managed a team of 7 students from various disciplines to educate the public and promote CU. o CAD and CAM fabrication of a functional magnetic separator and mining vehicle models. OptiNav – Aeroacoustics Engineer (June 2013 – July 2014)

Responsible for project planning, designing, and writing proposals including o Authoring NASA and NSF SBIR’s, an Army STTR, and FAA proposals. o Joint inventor and author of 3 nonprovisional patent applications. o Planned and conducted static solid rocket motor tests as noise sources.

Designed, built, and worked with phased microphone and hydrophone arrays.

Supported a static engine noise test for Pratt and Whitney Canada. UW AA Department – Research Assistant (March 2012 – June 2013)

Ram Accelerator

o Designed and machined projectiles, cycled shots, collected data, and performed maintenance.
