MediaLab 3D Solutions Jun 2014 – Jan 2016, Software Developer

● Developed a Windows service that used Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) to communicate with existing applications in order to create archive packages of our client’s data for use in our offline systems. The Service also had an embedded web socket server which could analyze incoming HTTP requests and respond as if it was an actual web server. All processes were asynchronous/multi-threaded and it was capable of creating up to 50 archive packages at one time.

● Redeveloped the company’s Sales Center Presentation (SCP) software for many home builder companies by utilizing the following technologies: AngularJS, JavaScript test frameworks - Karma and Jasmine, ASP.NET MVC 5, Web API, Windows Azure, Entity Framework, C#, HTML5, CSS3 and SQL Server.

● Made a huge impact in the redeveloped sales center application, which targeted new home buyers, that allowed a customer to select a floorplan for their new home based on elevation and interior images, toggle premium home features

(extended den, larger garage, etc.), touch/drag furniture onto the floorplan, favorite features or gallery images, and generate a printable/social shareable home brochure.

● Designed and developed a hybrid mobile/web application with Xamarin for iOS and Windows 8/10 that was used to run an AngularJS website in an offline environment.

● Published the company’s first iOS application to the iTunes app store and documented the entire publish process on the team Wiki website that I created in my free time for use in our development group.

● Developed reusable modules and directives in AngularJS for maximum device compatibility to fulfill user interface requirements such as: SVG manipulation, drag/drop content and trays, touch gesture functionality, and data entry forms.

● Created a user profile system with AngularJS and websockets for our sales center software that allowed sales representatives to save and edit customer information online and offline, then sync data when a network was reachable again.

● Worked in an agile team environment by implementing Scrum methodologies to complete projects on an iterative release cycle with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio 2015.

● Developed an internal content management system for our graphics department to help with generating the dynamic HTML content used in our client specific pages by leveraging AngularJS, Web API, and ASP.NET MVC.

Duvo Software Sep 2013 – Jun 2014, Lead Software Developer

● Developed multiple applications that integrated with the Unemployment Insurance Separation Information Data Exchange (UI-SIDES) web service API for the multiple States and client companies. The three applications consisted of a console app which was used to poll the UI-SIDES web service for new unemployment claims, an ASP.NET application which was used for managing documents needed for unemployment claim responses to the State, and another ASP.NET application which was used for internal data entry forms and unemployment claim reporting. This project took eight months to complete but was estimated to save the client over one million dollars in the first year alone and streamlined their unemployment claims response department.

● Completed an internal payroll processing application which was built with ASP.NET MVC, Oracle with .NET (ODP.NET), jQuery, HTML, CSS, jQuery UI. The application would go on to replace the client’s legacy payroll system and provide more efficient functionalities across all web browsers.

● Implemented an internal Wiki Knowledgebase for the IT department by leveraging a .NET Wiki Engine. I was able to re-brand the wiki to fit the needs of the business as well as tie the authentication into Active Directory through LDAP.

● Reverse engineered the entire reporting services user interface used by Lawson’s ERP system within an ASP.NET MVC 4 application using Twitter Bootstrap 3 and Kendo UI for MVC. This application allowed clients to view standard reports and dynamic reports through a self-service portal across all modern web browsers.

● Maintained and mobilized (Mobile responsive) existing ASP.NET web applications relating to real estate management, public relations, and internal self-service web portals.

● Developed a mobile app with LUA and the Corona SDK for iOS and Android Devices which served as an internally distributed app for public relations. This app also served as a prototyping experiment since the client was interested in moving into the native mobile app market.

● Interacted with Lawson’s UNIX based command console (Lawson Interface Desktop) to troubleshoot COBOL files, SQL scripts and Shell scripts that were utilized throughout the Lawson ERP system.
