Process Engineer – Startup New Melt Shop and Existing Casters 2013 – 2015
Direct Report to Plant Manager. Provided technical support to the Melt Shop Plant and Production Managers.
Collaborated with other Engineers to layout the process, conducted time studies, assessed overall capability, and looked at identifying future constraints.
Worked closely with Production department to define all operational parameters required to meet quality standards.

Served as team member of $600K savings annually on yield improvements of 1.39%. Project was at the 20” Rolling Mill with the development of programming of a cut optimizer used in maximizing good product when sawing multiple lengths of steel product when producing 50,000 tons a year.
