Contracted out for IBM for a duration of almost 4 months to travel to various NiSource/Columbia Gas locations in PA and MD for Windows Deployment and migration of over 900 laptops.
Imaged clients MDT's “ Mobile Date Terminal” from Windows XP to Windows 7, in addition to backing and restoring user data. In some cases needed to salvage lost data due to partial hard drive failure, deleted partitions or end user mistakes.
Removed and added users/ MDT's from Active Directory, encrypted with BitLocker, added MDT to the domain and installed proprietary software.
Removed old desktops, updated them, migrated data to replacements pc's that were to be deployed and installed to designated users and or locations.
