Gas Warehouse Project :

Gas Warehouse stores transactions received from and sent to Atlanta Gas Light Company. Gas Warehouse will also update Consumer information System database based on transactions received from AGLC. Transactions are processed if pre-requisites defined for them are met. Processing a transaction will involve sending updates to CIS/AGLC and posting it to main tables.

Roles and Responsibilities included:

Requirement analysis and development of detailed specifications based on discussions with Clients.

Develop windows service using quartz scheduler for scheduling daily, weekly, monthly and yearly jobs to process the transactions and save them in the data tables.

Develop a windows forms application to configure settings such as ftp, sftp and schedule timings.

Create separate dll’s for business logic, data models, data access layer etc as part of project architecture to integrate with the application

Implemented dependency injection using autofac container for interfaces to resolve the dependencies through out the project.

Used some some third party dll’s such as auto mapper and file helpers for converting objects and parsing files.

Implemented unit testing for all code.

Used Atlassian software suit for the regular code reviews before merging the code to the solution to achieve a better code quality
