Die Designer

Prepares 3D and 2D design for dies, special tools and jigs with reference to customer specifications.

Inspects the manufactured and modified dies, special tools and jigs, and sample products.

Develops technical standards for die manufacture, modification, repair, maintenance and inspection.

Conducts technical research for the continuous improvement of die manufacture and modification.

Renders support to troubleshoot defects due to repair and maintenance of dies.

Coordinates to customers for the alterations on the design and/or specifications on the product drawings.

Performs die repairs and troubleshooting product defects caused by dies whenever necessary.

Performs inspection of die component and evaluation of new die output.

Prepares the Bill of Materials (BOM) and process time estimates during project evaluation.

Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.
