Extensive experience and training in the power generation and heavy industrial environments. I worked 4 years in TVA's Power Service Fabrication Shop 2 as an apprentice and journeyman Ironworker. Primary projects included fabrication or repair on any fabricated structures throughout the TVA organization of nuclear, hydro, and fossil facilities. Built stop log gates for the Army Corps of Engineers hydro dams. Duties in these projects included welding to AWS and ASME code in TVA's welding procedures. Also operated various fabrication tools and equipment such as drills, saws, brakes, shears, presses, grinders, cutting torches, and reading blue prints. Worked 2 years at Wilson Dam repairing spillway gates by replacing rivets with bolts, repair any damage, inspecting and insuring overall integrity of the gates and their operation. Also worked various outages throughout the TVA system with an emphasis in Nuclear plants as an advanced heavy rigger on turbine assembly and disassembly as well as pulling generator fields. I have also worked many other maintenance and/or repair projects in the TVA system as well as being hired to consult other utilities in special projects as part of the River Operations department in TVA. Sites worked include Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, H.B. Robinson Nuclear Plant, TVA Power Service Shops, Wilson Dam, Wheeler Dam, Pickwick Dam, and Colbert Steam Plant.

Structural steel inspector performing inspections and tests to AWS D1.1 code. Inspections and tests conducted were visual weld inspection, TC bolt inspection and tests using skidmore, anchor bolt pull test, nelson stud inspection and test, and precast panel inspection. Generate inspection reports for the contractor on inspections performed as well as nonconformance's found during inspection. Trained as a level 1 UT inspector with level 2 UT inspectors. Projects worked on include The Watchtower World Headquarters, Marist College New Science Building, Orange County Ironworks fabrication shop, U-Haul new addition, and White Plains regional airport.
