ARDAGH GROUP Ruston, LA 1992 - Present

Formerly known as Saint-Gobain, the Ardagh Group is a global leader in packaging solutions.

Quality Control Manager

Effectively oversee the Standard Operating Procedures for the Ruston plant. Additionally, supervise the comprehensive Quality Management System while working with customers and Field Service Technicians to resolve glass issues.

Key Accomplishments:

Tasked with managing the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and General Management Plan (GMP) for the Ruston plant.

Serve as leader of the Ruston Food Safety Team.

Tank Manager

Successfully oversee the daily operations of Tank 1 in the Packaging Department. Additionally, work with QC and Production Departments ensuring that product meets both consumer and corporate requirements and standards.

Key Accomplishments:

Responsible for all heldware produced in Ruston plant. Process includes the re-select and re-packaging of quarantined items that are no longer suitable for shipping.

Carefully ensure the testing and inspection of products is performed. Additionally, ensure testing equipment receives routine maintenance.

Batch & Furnace Department

Step in for department head during vacations, leave of absence or when asked to assist by senior management. Effectively maintain the running parameters of two Regenerative Crossfire Furnaces.

Key Accomplishments:

Consistently monitored and logged raw material and natural gas consumption by both tanks.

Routinely scheduled delivery of all raw materials needed to produce products for the Ruston plant.

Successfully coordinated a major repair for Furnace #1 resulting in reduced downtime limiting company losses.

Quality Control Department

Consistently maintained contact with Tech Service Personnel for quality updates in the field so resources could be properly directed in other departments. Organized and maintained the SOP’s for the Quality Control Department.

Key Accomplishments:

Successfully implemented a Sample Procedure for all Inspection Equipment in the Ruston location.

Worked alongside clientele developing new products and offering business solutions for items sampled at the Ruston plant.

Monitored customer complaints, adjusted output accordingly and sought to find equitable resolutions that resulted in a positive customer experience and repeat business.

Packaging & Carton Supervisor

Effectively managed more than 300 employees daily, overseeing the entire packaging of products for the plant.

Job Change Supervisor

Served as an instrumental team member overseeing all job changes and ensuring product met customer specifications prior to going into production.

Oversaw the Packing Crew of 30 employees, ensuring quality products were delivered to customers. Additionally, maintained and arranged for servicing of equipment as needed.
