A major player in infrastructure projects in India with its multifaceted business areas of executing turnkey projects related to water supply & sewerage line with backward integration of treatment plants, manufacturing of RCC, PSC, MS and allied civil engineering works extending to Electrical Transmission and Distribution lines and Highway projects.
Working in Corporate Office as Project Coordinator (Junior Engineer) Reporting to the Vice-President. The job involves Preparation of Planning Schedules, Coordination Sites, Functional Depts., MIS & CTC Report Generation.
Establishing Completion Schedules in Coordination with Project Managers
Monitoring Operational activities of Water and sewerage Projects – Laying of pipe lines, Treatment plants and ancillary works.
Coordinating with procurement department to ensure smooth supply of materials
Coordinating with various internal departments for smooth execution and cashflows.
Preparing Work Orders, Work Indents, and Purchase Indents in customized ERP web application and Ms Access.
Sub Contractor Bills Verification Involved with Quantity Survey and also documenting the Correspondences.
Weekly review meeting with Vice president and monthly review meeting with Executive Director.
Submitting weekly progress reports including photographs showing status on all aspects of the project w.r.t planned activities and highlighting open issues, decisions required, etc
Site visit for every 2 months for knowing the physical status of project.
Overall supervision of the contractor’s reports.
Tracking the work execution on day-to-day basis.
Ensuring proper documentation at HO and site level as per SOP.
I am handling total Sixteen Water Supply and Sewerage Projects from Chennai.
