aMaintenance knowledge 2.8 MW synchronous motor with LRS and 1000 kw, 280 kw HT induction motor.

aMaintenance knowledge of LT induction motors, AC slip ring motors.

aMaintenance of drives system, HT breakers, good understanding of electrical control drawings.

aMaintenance of instruments like PT, DPT, flow control valves, flow meter, radar level transmitter, damper control actuators, thermocouple, RTD’s.

aEnsure spares availability for the equipment of plant, planning of spares.

aResponsible to maintain shutdown activities, details of all equipment, reverse engineering, 5-S work, History of equipment and major losses of plant.

aShift engineer at 75 sq.m sinter, condition monitoring of all equipment, work with Siemens PLC S7-400, S7-300.

aEnsuring safety and system compliance undertaking responsibility for various initiatives running in the plant - 5S, TPM, RCA, IMS etc.

Electrical skills

aCritical system – 2.8 MW (6.6Kv) Main ID fan motor interlocking Like main fan current, Excitation faliure, stator winding temperature, lubrication oil temperature, pressure, level, vibration of fan,flow of water& maintenance system.

Installation of LT System switches gear.

Knowledge of Soft starter(Chxp Chinese).

VVFD Drives (SIEMENS Micromaster 440Drive(AC), Sinamics 240, Allen Bradely power flex 400 & Power flex 40, Altivar) installation and Commmisioning.

DOL, RDOL, STAR-DELTA Motor Starter logic & operation through control wiring and PLC.

Belt conveyors and its safety devices interlocks with PLC like Pull cord, Belt sway switch, Zero speed switch, Limit switch.

Erection, Installation & Commissioning

aOverseeing self-designed Drive VS DOL logical control panel for plant followed by successful commissioning.

aAnchoring erection and commissioning of pneumatic type lime conveying system with its automation with PLC S7-400.

aCommissioning and installation of CO gas detector and its connectivity with PLC S7-400.

aInstalling and commissioning as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of plant & utilities; planning & effectuating maintenance schedules for equipment.

aInstallation and commissioning of 3T Indef hoist.

aAnchoring commissioning of 4 roll coke crusher with 30/20kw double star delta induction motor and 45 kw induction motor with all its safety interlocks taking inline.

Automation and instrumentation

Knowledge of hardware and software of Siemens- S7-400, S7-300, S7-200.

Capable To understand and program PLC In LAD, STL, FBD languages.

Capable to Develop Logics for the equipment alone or in a group.

Capable to develop interlocks for the process equipment.

Capable to trouble shoot PLC Program Bugs, or hardware/Network problems

Development of automation programs in Siemens S7 400,300,200 PLC Through Sematic Manager 5.4 & 5.5 Software.

Conversant with all interfacing Modules ET 200-M, ET 200-S etc.

Conversant with communication interfaces like PPI, MPI Profibus DP & PA and Ethernet etc

Graphical Designing of Plant and its equipment using Siemens SCADA software Win CC V6.2,7.0

Knowledge of hardware installation and control panel wiring in PLC.

Bunker level sensors (Radar type), water level sensors (ultra sonic).

Managing Skills

aPlanning resource and work scheduling to achieve effective manpower deployment of qualified workforce.

aPlanning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment to increase machine uptime & equipment reliability.

aIdentifying areas of bottlenecks / breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipment through application of troubleshooting tools like root cause analysis.

aMaking and updating electrical control drawing as per specified project.

aExecuting plant equipment availability to optimize manufacturing processes.
