Resume:

Audie “Mark” Ables

Profile:

I have worked in many fields, all eventually leading to a career in the Computing field. I started out as a mechanic, way before I could drive (legally). I then worked as a carpenter, contractor, machinist, draftsman, designer, etc. Each step in my career, my desire was for more responsibility / tangible results which allowed me to show the skill and pride in my workmanship. When the machine shop challenged my knees and feet too much, I moved into the computer industry.

As the computer industry flourished, my skills progressed also, finally the last 16 years as a Complex Systems Analyst for Dell Inc. I was fortunate enough to be able to help people from every walk of life, with every class of computer from an MP3 player to server farms handling millions of transactions on the web each second, all ages from 10 to 100, each state in the US and 122 countries globally. Over 60,000 individual customer contacts and unfathomable numbers of customers assisted anonymously via the Community Forums platform.

As a child saw a TV commercial stating "A brain is such a terrible thing to waste" and I agree totally. I have complete faith in my Savior to provide an opportunity to expand my skills further and in doing so, helping others in many more ways than just a "job".
