Review the test cases and test data generated by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments.
Analyze requirements during the requirements analysis phase of projects and get queries clarified by the Client/ Business analyst
Create the software test plan, get it reviewed and approved/ signed-off by the relevant stakeholders
Estimate the test effort and team (size, skills and schedule).
Create the test schedule (tasks, dependencies and assigned team members)
Forecast and Estimate the future requirements in a project.
Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
Send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Client.
Identify any test metrics to be gathered and work on sending regular updates to the team/ higher management
Track the new/ updated requirements in the project and update testing artifacts accordingly
