Prepares purchase orders for the procurement of local materials as stated on the materials requisitions forms.
Gets approved vendors from QA/QC dept and Liaise with vendors for the prompt supply of quality materials requested for smooth running operations.
Ensures that vendor prices are competitive and quality of materials supplied meet the requesting department’s specifications/standards.
Liaise with all heads of department for required specification of materials before initiating the process of material requisition.
Prepares request for quotation (RFQ) through SAP and distribute to all registered company vendors.
Prepares purchase orders through (SAP) for the procurement of materials as stated on the request for quotation forms.

Ensures that stock levels for all critical (downtime) items are controlled by ensuring that prompt material and purchase requisitions are raised.
Ensures that all spares in the warehouse are properly and safely stored, in particular, those such as BOP consumables, TDS spares, IRON ROUGHNECK spares, SCR spares or electronic components which require dark and/or air conditioned storage and hazardous goods such as paints which requires separate storage.
Performs monthly and yearly inventory of all warehouse and rig spares in accordance with Drillog Petro-Dynamics Systems.
Liaises with the rig manager, chief mechanic and chief electrician for a comprehensive material planning before the spuding of every well.
Monitors the maximum safe storage periods of items which have prescribed shelf life limits.
Local procurement of urgent spares to avoid NPT while drilling.
Tracking of recertification dates of equipment, tools and lifting gears with the safety department and ensuring that they are timely recertified.
Timely documentation of all incoming and outgoing equipment manifests.
Liaise with the safety department and operations department in ensuring that all tubular and rig equipment/structures are duly inspected by third party rig inspectors as per oil field standard.
