I started out as a CNA at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in October 2008. After graduating LPN school in December 2008, Icontinued to workat DRMC as an LPN on the Medical Surgical floor andin the clinical setting. In addition, while working at DRMC, I took a PRN position at Oakwood Community Living Center in 2012. After becoming an RN in May 2013, I took a full time position at Oakwood CLC. As of April 2015, I started with West Tennessee Healthcare and am currently working on a cardiac floor at the hospital. I am enrolled in a DNP/FNP program and graduate April 22, 2016. During my program I completed two semesters at a family practice clinic and the last 3 have been with Hometown Urgent Care in Dyersburg, Tn. At Hometown, I have seen patients as a family practitioner, broken bones, cut abscess, animal bites, colds, flu and normal every day illnesses.
