Dear Hiring Manager,
Clearly, there are many people in the oil and gas industry considering a career move.
While I have a solid background in the O&G industry, I also have an impressive background in Upper Level Management, Mechanical Engineering, Product Development and Manufacturing.
I am looking for a challenging leadership position in Manufacturing / Operations. Please find my attached my resume for your review.
Throughout my career I have successfully managed departments, developed a company while utilizing my vast Manufacturing and Engineering knowledge. This diverse knowledge and my proven Management and Leadership background are translatable across many Engineering & Manufacturing platforms.
I am very familiar with many manufacturing technologies and I am certain that my experience working over 25 years in a manufacturing environment will translate well to your requirements. Scheduling, scheduling conflicts and all the inside and outside factors that can impact manufacturing performance are well known for me since I managed either a machine shop directly or worked closely with reporting manufacturing managers in a job shop or forecast planning environment. I am in many regards “Hands On” and like to be close to the product.
Moreover, I implemented LEAN manufacturing with a consultant in my prior work place and can rightfully say that the whole process was one of the richest and at times most challenging experiences in my career. I would see it as a great opportunity to use these experiences in a new environment, regardless of the stage you are in working LEAN.
In addition, I am well versed at conducting business both nationally and globally for international product development meetings, trade shows, and to provide technical support for customers and/or Sales. While working on various organization sizes I found it most rewarding to grew a small family business into a sizeable organization.
Undoubtedly, the energy industry will recover to a certain level. However, I am looking forward to leveraging my skills and background into a challenging and rewarding career change. Throughout this career I have been blessed to make significant changes, like relocating from abroad and I am certain that the time is right to make another career move.
Thank you for your time thus far. I look forward to working with you during this exciting time of change in my career and I hope to get the opportunity to discuss this opportunity further.
Best Regards,
Mario Panzar
