Senior Piping/Mechanical Designer/Construction Supervisor (2014 to 2015

Tall Grass-Seneca Compressor Station, Ohio – Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for a 2- phase compressor station installation. Assigned to field support for final construction.

Summit Midstream – Buckeye/Thatcher Compressor Stations, Ohio – Lead Piping

Piping/Mechanical Designer for a 2-site (six compressors each) station installation.

Behrent Engineering Company – Lakewood, CO

Agrium, Canada – Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for upgrades of the flare systems at three Ammonia plants. Scope of work included replacing high and low pressure headers and placing HRVs (Hydrostatic Relief Valves) and PSVs (Pressure Safety Valves) where required and routing the discarge piping to the high and low pressure headers.

Senior Piping/Mechanical Designer/Construction Supervisor (2003 to 2013)

K1436 Treatment System, Tennessee - Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of a 60-gallon-per-minute modular treatment facility at the K1435 TSCA incinerator complex at the East Tennessee Technology Park. The system treats scrubber blowdown water potentially contaminated with metals, radionuclides (uranium, plutonium, technetium, cesium, strontium) and PCBs. Unit operations include chemical treatment, membrane filtration, neutralization and sludge dewatering. New influent pumping systems from existing K1435 sumps were also required. The treatment system is housed in three 48-foot trailers that were fabricated and tested offsite.

RFETS Hydrolasing Water Recycle System, Colorado - Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for the design of a recycle system water produced from hydrolasing of contaminated concrete surfaces at the Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site (RFETS). The system

Included solids separation, membrane filtration and reverse osmosis systems to produce a high-quality effluent for recycle to high pressure hydrolasing equipment.

Fria Neutralization System, West Africa - Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for detailed design of neutralization for effluent from an alumina mine. Project scope included process definition and mechanical and electrical design.

WTP Pump House Facilities, Washington - Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for design, fabrication and installation of four modular pump house facilities in support of the high- level Waste Washington Treatment Plant (WTP) at the DOE Hanford Site. Two pump houses are designed for the site’s diesel powered fire-water pumps, the third pumphouse contains the site’s fuel oil transfer pump to the storage tank and transfer pumps to the boiler building, and the fourth pump house is for the conditioning and transfer of the non- dangerous, non-radioactive liquid waste to disposal.

Rocky Mountain Arsenal ELF, Colorado - On-Site Construction Supervisor for the installation of leachate and stormwater conveyance systems for the Enhanced Landfill (ELF).

The project involved installing high-density polyethylene (HDPE) dual-contain integrated control system.

Bechtel National, Inc., Alaska - Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for design, fabrication and installation of a demineralized water system skid used to produce ultra-pure water. Unit operations included filtration, ion exchange and reverse osmosis.

Homestake Mining Company, South Dakota - Lead Piping/Mechanical Designer for design, construction management and commissioning of a 700-gallon-per-minute treatment facility for waste rock seepage at the Homestake Mine. Unit operations include biological treatment for selenium and reverse osmosis for dissolved solids. Also functioned as on-site Resident Construction Supervisor for installation of facility mechanical and electrical systems.

Johns Manville – Littleton Co

Senior Piping Designer (2001 to 2002)

HERMAX Manufacturing Line, Georgia - Lead Piping Designer for design and installation of HERMax and Manufacturing Line (Line 106) in the Winder, GA Manufacturing Plant

producing building insulation, commercial and various industrial products. The purpose of this project was to expand production capacity and double the manufacturing capacity of the line by adding a second module. This entailed designing the entire relocation and modification design of the facility.

Freon to Pentane Conversion, Pennsylvania - Lead Piping Designer for conversion of Freon blowing agents to Pentane in the Hazleton, PA Foam Plant. Major scope items included new Pennsylvania 30,000 gallon storage tank with railcar and truck unloading capabilities. New pentane mix room and upgrade to equipment, piping, instrumentation, wiring, etc. to meet all applicable codes for flammable and hazardous chemicals. In addition a re-design of the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer installed to meet environmental

air pollution regulations was necessary.
