• Operations Manager in charge of offshore seismic campaigns from pre-bid to project completion. Ensuring the project remains on the projected timeline as well as the projected profit margin in a safe, efficient cost effective manner and that all are in compliance with company and contractual policies and procedures.

• Produced and maintained project plans for the life of the project as well as defined expectations for the management team and senior management.

• Lead the management team in project planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of the project plan.

• Head of the management team on all Operational, Maritime, HSEQ and budgetary matters ensuring that all project and company KPI’s are met.

• Cultivated good working relationships with contractors, client/customer.

• Coordinated the Health and Safety teams on audits and conducted weekly meetings to focus on safety issues.

• Project and contract expert and the primary point of contact to address the potential scope of work and discuss all schedule changes.

• Negotiated contracts with sub-contractors and vendors.

• Maintained a five quarter rolling prognosis to ensure all days are accounted for and any planned loss of days are kept to a minimum thereby reducing any loss day revenue.

• Introduced a voyage plan from port call to port call in order to maximize efficiency and to determine any potential loss of revenue. This resulted in overall cost savings and reduced loss of revenue days.

• Responsible for all HSEQ, accident and incident investigations, risk analysis and risk mitigation.

Senior Navigator onboard seismic vessels

Supervising the navigation and positioning of the vessel as well as all in-sea equipment. Maintaining all onboard navigation systems, training junior and contract personal in required duties as well as setting up all jobs per contract requirements.
