Analyzed and implemented a plan to consolidate across three AS/400 systems JDE World and IBM RPG III development and enhancement. Coded and implemented a generic EDI system with RPG & CL & Harbinger/Premenos for JD Edwards World ERP system. Developed and implemented a radio frequency (RF) inventory control system and interface with the existing ERP system. This RF system was developed, coded, tested and implemented with RPG III, IV & ILE & CL on an AS/400. Developed and implemented United Parcel Service interface allowing clients to ship goods directly from the AS/400 order system. All labels and data transfers are UPS compatible via custom printing (Prism). Supported custom point of sale (POS) system written and maintained in RPG on AS/400; featuring signature capture, document archiving & retrieval.

Performed AS/400 systems CL & RPG III software support and upgrade on JD Edwards including financial, and customer management modules. The main focus of the contract was to sharpen and improve a newly purchased software package (ACS) and to design, code, test and implement a shipping/inventory control module that was not part of the purchased package. This package was written in RPGIV and used the IBM commitment control feature. All newly developed portions of this system were written in RPG. Extensive lookup and maintenance features were developed utilizing subfile processing. The shipping module was interactive and used Zebra & Monarch thermal transfer barcoding. These bar-codes were interfaced using Symbol and Intermec Scan equipment.
