Pricing Implementation.

Achievements:

Pricing reports are the critical reports for the regional account managers and pricing analysts. The daily load to the pricing back end was taking more than15 hours and the SLA was impacted due to that. I had to re implement the pricing extractors to improve the performance. The implementation was a big success and the run time came down to 5 minutes .

Responsibilities:

Analyze the current implementation to find the issue and the fix for the same

Work with the functional pricing consultant to accommodate the upcoming pricing changes in ECC.

We needed to create webi documents and dashboards from the existing Bex query and needed to send the exiting extracts to Qlickview, so that Qlickview can display these reports

Today, Netspares is the vendor specific tool used to house the contract that HP has with Cisco. The Netspares database as it existed before this project was completely Cisco Centric. Here’s the current scenario on how Netspares has been used. The customer buys a HP computer that has network services with Cisco as part of the deal. The first contract is the contract that HP has with the customer. This contract between HP and the customer is stored in SAP BW. The contract between Cisco and HP is in SQL server .We need reporting on combined BW and SQL data using Business Objects .HP sells this contract to the customer although they are using Cisco as the 3rd party vendor.
