Responsible for proper submission of state use tax on fixed assets, in a 7 state region.
Provide fixed asset reports, and capital budget reports on a monthly basis, and ad hoc reports as needed. Maintain capital expenditure to budget records.
Responsible for Personal Property Tax records for 86 stores across a 7 state region. Maintain records and file taxes as appropriate.
Integrate reporting between Sage Fixed Asset software and JD Edwards ERP software.
Work with various agencies auditing the fixed asset/sales & use tax records of the company.
Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of store bank records for 86 stores (part of the company’s segregation of duties internal controls.) Each store banks locally to their location, and funds are gathered nightly into a controlled account at the corporate level.

Earp Distribution distributes to 420 McDonald’s and 65 Chipotle Mexican Grill Restaurants in a seven state region. Twice-a-week deliveries are made, distributing 15,000,000 cases annually.
Manage a team of six, including three professional positions, and three clerical positions.
Established regular internal financial reporting for five closely held companies.
Proven history of finding and correcting problems within processes that cost the company extra money, such as overpayment/incorrect payment of taxes, etc.
Helped develop a warehouse product loss and damage program that saves the company over $50,000 per year.
Most recently worked with several banks and regulatory agencies regarding $26 million in IRDB and Federal Recovery Act Bonds on 184,000 s.f. new distribution facility.
