• Designed, wrote, integrated and released several software packages and related process documentation, communicating through GPIB IEEE to the device under test and all calibration equipment.

Senior Development Engineer / Manufacturing Process Engineer Selected to be the leader for a $29M technology transfer from Kyocera’s plant in Shiga Japan by identifying core capabilities and interfacing with all levels of the partnering organization. Led the development of quartz crystal resonators and their transition into manufacturing, giving guidance to management, customers, and manufacturing groups locally and internationally by defining process methodologies.

• Trained production supervisors and operators, established the manufacturing, process, preventative maintenance requirements, and quality standards for both U.S. and international production.

• Led a cross-functional team of eight, including lead operators and production manager, which succeeded in improving yield from 50% to greater than 90%, on a high volume product.

• Achieved time to market of less than 12 months on high volume designs, reducing an estimated 50% from plan through proper identification and allocation of resources, and development of a design process for critical design parameters.

• Acted as the project manager and received four service awards for team excellence, by leading up to three engineers and five technicians, in the completion of product sample builds.

• Initiated the design and implementation of a database, shortening the RFQ cycle time from as long as one week, to within one day, a savings of 80%.
