PROJECTS
Hardware In Loop (HIL) Real Time testing and diagnostics on GM Escalade Jan 2016 – Present
Created different test cases for testing vehicle level functionality, found a major bug by implementing corner test case
Connected neoVI hardware to car using AL/DL port, diagnosed vehicle condition then used hardware acceleration feature, real time messages are configured and sent to device such as periodic messaging, reply or scripting
Performed requirement analysis for integrated testing of Ford Instrument Panel Cluster(IPC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) modules
Created various positive and negative test cases, tested on modules, updated, executed, identified bugs and fixed
DOMAIN: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), neo VI, CAN, J1939, Diagnostics, Vehicle Spy
Gasoline Engine Control using Idle Speed Governor Feb 2016
Designed a state machine in Simulink to control the different run stages (stall, crank, run) of a 3.6L V6 eco-tec gasoline engine by controlling the amount of fuel injected and designed an idle speed governor with minimum speed of 700 RPM
Initially tested the controller on HIL (Hardware in the loop) and then calibrated the engine and tuned the controller using Moto Tune
DOMAIN: MotoHawk, MotoTune, MATLAB, Simulink, Woodward ECU
Electronic Throttle and Fuel Injector Control using a Potentiometer and Remote Control via CAN Feb 2016
Developed control system to control throttle valve and fuel injector using accelerator and PID controller using Simulink
Calibrated the control system (gain and offset) using MotoTune ECU calibration tool
Modulated duty cycle using PI controller based on throttle position from ECU 1 to control ETC connected to ECU 2
DOMAIN: MotoHawk, MotoTune, CANKing, Kvaser CAN, MATLAB, Simulink, J1939 CAN protocol, CANalyzer
