ADULT PROGRAMS

Continued from Page 1

The Lincoln Township Public Library is proud to offer programs for all ages. To sustain this high level of service, we creatively search for alternative funding. Our long term financial stability for the future is the Endowment Fund. Established in 1995 by the Board of Trustees, the fund was transferred to the Berrien Community Foundation in 2003 where it is maintained in perpetuity, drawing solely on interest subject to the foundation’s guidelines. Please consider donating to the Library. Tax deductible contri- butions may be sent to the Library at 2099 W. John Beers Rd., Stevensville, MI 49127.

Board of Trustees:

President - David H. Bailey

Vice President - Marion F. Maier

Treasurer - Narayan M. Sedalia

Secretary - Mary E. Sundblad

Trustee - Diane M. Nye

Trustee - John A. Smietanka

Board meetings will be held the third

Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Meetings are open to the public.

The Friends of the Library are working on developing a preschool and early elementary Literacy Center at Rosetta’s House. To help with the completion, the Friends received a $4,000 Frederick S. Upton Foundation Challenge Grant. When the Friends raise $4,000, the organization will be awarded $4,000 from the Foundation, thus doubling the amount to $8,000. People are encouraged to contrib- ute. A tax deductible contribution may be made to the “Friends of the LTPL” and sent or brought to the Library. Please indicate that it’s for the Frederick S. Upton Foundation Challenge Grant. On May 5th, the Friends received a Heart of Cook Grant for $500 for the ‘Tween Tomes book discussion group for 4th - 6th graders. Grant funds will supply books, which the children may keep. Please continue to bring Spartan UPC symbols to the library.
