Team Lead / Training Wafer Specialist
Responsible for running a series of testing on microchips for research and development. Testing included:
Introduced microchips into testing equipment / computers / ovens for hot, cold, and current testing
Collected data from the testing and organized into excel reports for engineer.
Packaged product to be returned once testing was complete.
Responsible for being the acting supervisor when the manager was not present.
Accomplishments included:
Standardized and developed a training program that established guidelines for each department and created a checklist for responsible parties.
Developed a key communication system between the operators and engineers that increased productivity and efficiency.
Created an organization system in the reject room to aid operators in finding processed materials. This system was adopted company-wide.
Appointed the Pentagon Liaison for the military projects which required extensive background screenings. Responsible for handling and processing microchips under military protocol.
