I am currently completing my first year in the Justice Studies Program at the University of Guelph/Humber and I will be returning to the program in the fall. This year I have thrived in courses such as Crime and Criminal Justice, Law, Criminal Offences and Police Powers. In addition to my post-secondary education, I have excellent computer skills that include proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications including MS Excel, databases, MS Word, Outlook and Internet to conduct research. I have been able to demonstrate my excellent writing, oral communication, documentation and listening skills. I am a very enthusiastic and outgoing individual. I have no problems learning from people swell as teaching people in a job setting. I have been employed in several customer service positions that have allowed me to increase both my interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both professionals and the general public. In addition, I have over 3 years experience coaching and leading sporting activities where I was able to represent our teams with professionalism and support our players with respect and empathy. These experiences ensure I have demonstrated commitment to efficiency, sensitivity, cooperation and teamwork that is required to work within the public sector.
