Description:

The aim of paper is to make a review of existing different types of high voltage circuit breakers,sf6 with other circuit breakers (vacuum,oil,air) .This project deals about global positioning system(GPS)is proposed to monitor condition,operation and status of high and medium voltage circuit breakers .by tracking equipment condition,this could decreases over all maintenance cost and increase equipment reliability. using high accurate time synchronization,this system should enable development of system-wide applications that utilize the data recorded by the system.

Mini project : “Wind generation system based on double fed induction generator using MATLAB link”

Description:

Wind power is the most reliable and developed renewable energy source. The share of wind power with respect to total installed power capacity is increasing worldwide. The Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind turbine with variable-speed variable-pitch control scheme is the most popular wind power generator in the wind power industry. This machine can be operated either in grid connected or standalone mode. A thorough understanding of the modelling, control, and dynamic as well as the steady state analysis of this machine in both operation modes is necessary to optimally extract the power from the wind and accurately predict its performance.
