Automobiles; research & restoration of old cars gives a valuable insight to the rehabilitation of exiting structures. Research and interests extend to other vehicles such as aircraft. History “People are very open-minded about new things, as long as they’re exactly like the olds ones” Charles Kettering; People outside the Architecture profession do not understand the vocabulary, let alone the drawings of the trade, therefore it is the Architect’s responsibility to establish a rapport in terms that they are already familiar with in order to open their minds to new possibilities. Rehabilitating existing historic structures; I own a greystone three flat in Chicago that keeps my spare time occupied with repairs.
