Change tooling in Injection and Blow Mold machines.
Trouble shoot & process AOKI machines, Jomar, Injection Uniloy & Stretch Blow Uniloy.
Start- up machines and process the bottles or jars. 1/2ounce to 1 liters.
Measure the bottles (wall thickness, seams, ovality, warps, rockers, overall height, neck finish height, caved panels) & make sure the bottles are in all customer specs. Troubles shoot any measurement issues and fix.
Measuring of tooling.
Fix minor issues with tooling.
Properly tear down tooling and clean.
Depth gauges, Vernier calipers and go/no go devices.
How to work on & use water & oil units.
Fill out proper measurement & machine documents.
Trouble shoot machine issues and fix.
Work with a variety of different materials. Such as;
Polyethylene terephthalate (variety of grades)
Polycarbonate
General Purpose Polystyrene
Polypropylene (variety of grades)
High Density Polypropylene
Medium Impact Polystyrene
Regrind from all these Materials
Understand how material dryers work & how to operate material dryers
Run tow motors, clamp trucks, scissor lifts and bucket lifts.
Properly use tooling lifts, chain hoists.
How to use Oracle.
Set up conveyors, leak detectors, metal detectors, stand up units and flamers
Set up & measure colors for bottles (liquid and pellet)
Work hydraulics, pneumatics and some electric on machines.
Change motors, pump motors, servos, electric switches and gear boxes.
Rebuild cylinders, accumulators.
Make hydraulic lines.
Fix broken, stripped out bolts.
Have done some Supervisor roles
Fill out & follow O.E.E Reports.
Trained & follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Use proper P.P.E.
Use all proper Lock Out Tag Out.
Guide & supervise fellow workers in troubleshooting issues & everyday assignments.
Do Preventive Maintenance on machines.
Proper communication to supervisors & fellow workers.
CPR, First- aid & AED Certified by the Red Cross.
