Design of a portable ECG machine with digital monitoring

-Timeline: January 2015 - May 2015

-In this project we to design an ECG data acquisition system that is suitable for use at home. The design consists of an ECG recorder hardware that is used as a computer peripheral connected to the computer and algorithm written to display the ECG data

Training

Microcontroller Based Embedded Systems Design from Oriens Infotech Pvt. Ltd, Kolkata

- Duration – 4 Weeks

- In this training I have learnt how to use a microcontroller in a system and how to program a microcontroller for a dedicated purpose.

- In this training we made a digital temperature detector by using 8051 microcontroller, LM35 sensor, ADC and LCD display. The device can measure -55 degree to 150 degree Celsius temperature.

Extra-Curriculum Activities

-I have got 1st prize in a inter collage tech fest in a robot making competition. In this competition I have made a water bot which had a hand mechanism by which you can pull or push a floating object in a specific area

- I have got 1st prize in ‘Mechanix’ competition where I have made a pulley by using paper, glue, ice cream sticks and iron wire and that pulley had strength to hold 35 kg weight

-I have won 2nd prize in a circuit making competition where I have made a instrumentation amplifier which we can use in any measurement instrument for getting proper output with less noise signal.

-Member of cultural committee of collage.
