Durham School Services – York Pennsylvania
Full responsibility for eight exempt employees and seven hundred twenty five non exempt
in a Region consisting of eight service locations inclusive of Baltimore City, Chester Pa.
and York Pennsylvania. Duties included customer relations, contract negotiations,
attending school board meetings, and developing bench strength among the General Manager
ranks. Primary focus was safety as it pertains to the bus fleet as well as CDL Driver training.
01/2001 to 11/2013 General Manager Transportation
Iron Mountain Information Management - Collegeville, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities included all aspects of a $20m Transportation and Special
Projects organization. Managed thirteen exempt employees and one hundred
twenty non exempt. Coached and developed Managers as well as Supervisors,
while focusing on providing exemplary service to customers as evidenced by
results of Production, Service, and Quality metrics. Additional focus on
employee morale as well as safety.
02/1998 to 01/2001 Senior Manager
Federal Express Corporation - Memphis, Tennessee
Senior Manager at sort facility responsible for all aspects of transportation
activities, inclusive of 24/7 operation moving express freight as well as
heavyweight freight to and from airport facilities and ground operations
