UD composite for door Intrusion beam
Initial CAD design is done using Unigraphics NX7.0. Multi Tetra mesh for many variance have been modeled for Moldflow simulations and high quality tetra mesh have been developed using Abaqus for structural simulations.
The main objective of this project is to increase the strength of the door for side impacts by replacing the generally used material with composites
Structural and Motion analysis for roller coaster
The assembly of roller coaster was designed with combination of Mesh (Hex, Mid-plane and Tetra) and model setup was done for Abaqus. The main objective of this project is to study the structural analysis of components of roller coaster. Various weld have been modeled using various techniques for the study of different types of weld behaviors
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design of automobile components using various types of mesh - 2D Moldflow mesh, Tetra mesh, Hex mesh, Midplane structural mesh, Hybrid mesh
Preparing model for simulation by defining contact surfaces, weld and bolt pretensions
