The aim of sales data warehouse is to analyze sales of major brands varying with different promotional schemes

The system has a database which stores information about sales, profits and contracts of customers. Using this existing database, the system should analyze the sales and profit and generates reports for Sales and profits in month wise and year wise. The resulting model gives us an idea about growth in profit, prediction about increase in sales

Myer is retail chain in Australia With 60 stores nationally, to meet their customer needs they decided to build a Data Warehouse to analyze Key factors like the total sales revenue on the monthly and quarterly basis on the region and seasonal wise the sales amount and the decision support system is focused on analyzing the entire business process. In order to provide the critical information like daily revenue, total sales, goals, and new plans, the company developed business intelligence system suite of products. Reports are generated for top management using Hyperion essbase.
