Junior Engineer in Projects & New Product Development

Design & Develop new products through R&D engineering and release to production.

Prepare complex 3D assemblies and drawings of systems for installation and manufacturing and perform conversion of concept designs into detailed designs for prototyping.

Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with plants to ensure consistent documentation of projects.

Develop design prototypes to meet the quality requirements and perform test and finalize product design to facilitate mass production.

Hands on experience in creating and reviewing PPAP documents such as PFMEA / DFMEA / Control Plan / Specifications reviews / preparation of Proto type control plan / Gauge planning / SPC.

Plans the jobs and provides supervision to the sub contractors workers for timely completion of the project.

Perform market researches to understand market requirements and initiate innovative product development.

Experienced in handling quality instruments used for precise measurements. (micrometer, vernier caliper, bore dial, slip gauge, surface roughness tester, height master)

Proficient in tool designing for automotive components using CAD & Creo 2.

Implementation of 5S, KAIZEN & Continuous Improvement related to cost, Quality, Moral, and Safety related Process.

Responsible for educating and training to employees in 5s, TPM, Lean, SMED, Kaizen and industrial engineering factory.
