Responsibilities:

Involved in installation, testing and commissioning of 1500 KVA, 1000 KVA and 750 KVA transformers, 750 KVA generators, 13.8 KV switchgear and 600 V Busway management systems

Prepare Cable inter connection schedule from equipment to panel & laying of complete cable trenches, cable trenches covers for all power & control cable

RESEARCH AND MODELLING

One year extensive research on “Modelling of PV under partial shading condition” during Master of Engineering course at University College Dublin, Ireland between 2014 and 2015

Synopsis: The performance of PV array is effected by temperature, solar insolation, shading and array configuration. Often, the PV arrays get shadowed, completely or partially due to nearby building, clouds, trees etc. My work presents the MATLAB based modelling of and simulation scheme suitable for studying the I-V and P-V characteristics of PV array under non-uniform irradiance due to partial shading. It can also be used for developing and evaluating new maximum power point tracking techniques, especially for partially shaded condition.
