Emphasis is put on the software development life cycle
(SDLC) - including analysis, design, implementation / testing, and deployment / maintenance. AP Computer Science is an introductory college-level course in computer science. I also teach web design / development technologies including Flash, HTML 5, CSS, PHP, Action Script, mySQL, database development and interaction.
Upon inheriting the AP Computer Science course in 2008 the average pass rate was 8%, in less than two years I have been able to increase the pass rate to over 90%. (Of which 90% received a score of 4 or 5)

The project seeks to demonstrate that youth, when given guidance and educational opportunities to become productive citizens, are less likely to partake in criminality.
